A private contacts, notes, and reminders app for one person
We build a small, password-protected app where one person keeps contacts, notes on each contact, and follow-up reminders. No teams, no sharing, no features you didn't ask for.
The problem
Contacts live in your phone, notes live in a notes app, and follow-ups live in your head or on sticky notes. When you need to recall what you discussed with someone last month, you end up searching three places. Off-the-shelf CRMs are built for teams, with pipelines, seats, and settings a one-person practice never uses.
What we’d build
- A login for a single user, with password reset by email, so the data stays private to you.
- A contacts list with search, plus name, company, email, phone, and tags for each contact.
- Notes attached to each contact, shown newest first with date stamps.
- Reminders with due dates, linked to a contact, and an Upcoming and Overdue view.
- One email integration that sends you a daily summary of what is due, and optionally a second integration such as a calendar feed of your reminders.
- Up to 10 screens, on your domain or ours, with a hosted link and full source code.
A concrete example
An independent consultant has about 300 contacts in a spreadsheet and keeps meeting notes in a separate app. We build nine screens: login, password reset, contacts list, contact detail, add or edit contact, reminders list, add or edit reminder, settings, and a one-time CSV import for the spreadsheet. Each morning at a time she chooses, the app emails her the reminders due that day. She gets three rounds of tweaks after we deliver the first version, such as renaming fields or changing how the overdue list is sorted, plus 30 days of bug fixes.
Pricing, Mini-app
This use case fits the Mini-app tier.
- Small app with login and roles (team tool, client portal, booking or ordering flow)
- Up to 10 screens
- Up to 2 integrations
- Your domain or ours
- Hosted link + full source code
- Three rounds of tweaks
- 30 days of bug fixes

Frequently asked
Why is a one-person app in the Mini-app tier?
The Fix tier has no login and the Tool tier does not include one, and this app needs a protected account, so it fits the Mini-app tier at $1,999 and 10 business days.
Can you add sharing or team access later?
Sharing is not part of this scope, and we don't do ongoing custom development, but you get the full source code, so you or another developer can extend it.
What happens with hosting?
Hosting is included for 12 months, then it is $9.00 per month, or you can self-host using the source code we hand over.
What if I change my mind?
If we decline your project before work starts, you get a full refund. Once we have delivered, there is no refund, but you still have your three rounds of tweaks and 30 days of bug fixes.
Can I store sensitive information in it?
We don't build apps that store regulated data such as health records or card numbers, so keep the notes to ordinary business details.
