Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Applet Lab, operated by Studio Trudeau LLC (“we,” “us”). By placing an order you agree to these Terms.

What we do

We build small, fixed-scope software (“applets”) at three fixed prices. Each applet is generated with AI tooling and reviewed, tested, and delivered by a person.

Orders and payment

Payment is due upfront. Work begins after payment is received. If we determine before starting work that we can’t build what you described, we will issue a full refund.

Scope and revisions

Each tier lists what is included and how many rounds of tweaks you get. Changes outside that scope can be purchased as a new Fix.

Ownership and license

You own the source code we deliver. We license it to you under the MIT license at delivery. You may reuse, modify, and redistribute the code.

Hosting

Hosting is included for a limited period as described on the site, then continues at the published monthly rate unless you self-host.

Acceptable use

You will not request work that violates law, infringes third-party rights, or stores regulated data (health, payment card numbers, etc.).

Warranties and disclaimers

Deliverables are provided “as is.” We disclaim implied warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law. Our total liability under these Terms is limited to the fees you paid for the specific applet at issue.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Studio Trudeau LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
