A ballpark pricing calculator on one screen
We build a single-screen calculator that turns a few inputs into a ballpark estimate and can optionally email a copy. It's a fixed price of $249 and takes three business days.
The problem
Quoting the same kind of job over and over eats time. Many owners keep a rough formula in their head or in a spreadsheet, so answering "what would this cost?" turns into an email back-and-forth. Prospects often want a rough number before they'll book a call, and you want to give them one without writing a full proposal.
What we’d build
- One screen with a handful of inputs, such as dropdowns, number fields, and checkboxes, built from the pricing rules you give us.
- A live estimate that updates as the visitor changes inputs, shown as a single number or a low-to-high range.
- An optional email step: the visitor enters an address and we send them a copy of the estimate, and we can copy you on it too.
- Your name or logo, your colors, and a short note saying the figure is a ballpark and not a formal quote.
- A hosted link you can share, plus the full source code.
- One round of tweaks after delivery.
A concrete example
Say you run a pressure-washing company. Your pricing is a per-square-foot rate that depends on the surface (driveway, deck, or siding), a minimum charge, and an add-on for second-story work. We build one screen where the customer picks the surface, types the square footage, and checks a box for second story. The page shows an estimated range right away. Below it, an optional field lets them enter an email address, and we send them the numbers and a copy to you. There's no login, and the page doesn't keep a database of past estimates.
Pricing, Micro
This use case fits the Micro tier.
- One single-purpose tool (calculator, converter, a form that emails you, a simple generator)
- Up to 2 screens, no login
- Hosted link + full source code
- One round of tweaks

Frequently asked
How complicated can the pricing rules be?
Straightforward formulas, rate tiers, minimum charges, and add-ons work well. If your pricing has many branching rules, or you need to save and look up past quotes, the Tool tier at $749 is a better fit.
Does the calculator save the estimates people run?
No, the Fix tier has no saved data and no login. The email option sends a message, but we don't build a record of requests.
What if I want changes after delivery?
One round of tweaks is included. Anything beyond that is outside the fixed scope, but you get the full source code and can change it yourself or hire someone else to.
What does hosting cost?
Hosting is included for 12 months. After that it's $9.00 per month, or you can self-host using the source code we hand over.
Can I get a refund?
You get a full refund if we decline the project before work starts. Once we've delivered, there are no refunds.
