Project tracker with board view and weekly digest
The problem
The team needed one place to see who owned which piece of work, when it was due, and where it stood. Without a shared tracker, status was hard to see at a glance, and there was no routine summary of what had changed during the week.
What we built
We built a web mini-app with email and password login and two roles, admin and member. Each project card holds a title, owner, due date, status and a checklist. Cards can be viewed on a board grouped by status, where they are moved between columns, or in a list that can be sorted and filtered by owner and status. Keyboard shortcuts cover common actions: creating a card, moving it, searching and switching views. Each card keeps an activity log, and that log feeds a weekly digest email summarizing cards that changed status, were added or were completed. The interface is plain-toned and uncluttered. We delivered a hosted link and the full source code.
Outcome
The team can now track projects in one shared app, switch between a board and a filterable list, and move work along using the keyboard. Admins and members have separate roles, and everyone gets a weekly email summarizing what changed. The team also has the full source code to keep or extend.
