Live Sessions Schedule Mini-App

The problem

The customer hosts live sessions in series and needed a single place to publish them. Visitors in different time zones had to work out start times themselves, and join links needed to stay private until shortly before each session. The team also needed an easy way to add, change, or cancel sessions without making visitors create accounts.

What we built

We built a small web app with an email and password login for the team only. In the admin screen, the team can create a series and add, edit, or cancel individual sessions. They can also paste in a simple schedule (date, time, title, join link) and review it before saving. Each series has a public page listing upcoming sessions in the visitor's local time zone, with the time zone shown clearly. Join links stay hidden until 15 minutes before start, and the server does this check, so the link is not exposed in the page. Each series also has a subscribable ICS feed for calendar apps, and a simple public index page lists all series. We delivered a hosted link and the full source code.

Outcome

The team can now publish and manage session schedules in one place, and visitors can see times in their own time zone without creating an account. Join links only appear within 15 minutes of start. Visitors can subscribe to a series in their calendar app, and the feed reflects changes the team makes to sessions. The customer also has the full source code.
