Family Calendar: a shared week view with weekly email

The problem
The household needed one place where everyone could see the week's events. Without a shared view, it was hard to know who had what on which day. Existing calendar apps typically require each person to have an account, and the family wanted something simpler to share.
What we built
We built a mobile-first web app centered on a shared week view with large touch targets. Each family member is listed with an assigned color. Events can be added, edited, moved, and deleted through a simple form, and tapping lets you change the day or time. Events can repeat daily, weekly, or monthly, with an end date or no end. Access is through a private link, so no accounts are needed. A Sunday-evening email lists the coming week's events, grouped by day and color-labeled by person. The app can be installed on a phone home screen with an icon and full-screen mode, though it is a web app and not a native app. We delivered the saved data, a hosted link, and the full source code.
Outcome
Family members can open one private link to see the week at a glance, with each person's events color-coded. They can add and change events from a phone, set up repeating events, and get a summary email each Sunday evening. They also have the hosted app and the full source code.
