Estimate request page and owner dashboard for a landscaping company

The problem

Estimate requests for outdoor service jobs tend to arrive as scattered calls, texts, and emails with little detail. Photos, the address, and preferred timing have to be chased down, and it is hard to tell which requests are new, which have been quoted, and which have gone quiet.

What we built

We built a public request page with no login. Visitors pick a service, describe the job (up to 1,000 characters), upload up to 5 photos, and give their address, preferred timing, name, email, and an optional phone number and 'how did you hear' answer. A honeypot field filters out spam. Each submission is saved with the customer's email on the record, the owner gets the full request with photo links by email, and the customer gets a short confirmation along with an on-page note covering next steps, the response time promise, and the service area. The owner signs in by magic link to a dashboard with a filterable request list (new, quoted, scheduled, done, all) and counts. Each request has a detail view with large photos and a Google Maps link. From there the owner can send a quote with an amount and optional note, mark the job scheduled, mark it done, or decline with a reason. The customer is emailed on quote, schedule, and decline, and every action is written to a timestamped history. Owner settings cover business name, notify email, service area note, response time promise, editable and reorderable services, and 'how did you hear' options. A daily check emails the owner once for any request that has sat in 'new' for more than 2 business days. A demo mode is seeded with 14 sample requests for a fictional lawn and landscape business, and it does not send emails.

Outcome

The business now has one page to send people to for estimate requests, and each request arrives with photos, address, and timing already attached. The owner can see every request by status, send a quote, schedule, finish, or decline a job from a phone, and the customer is kept informed by email at each step. Requests that go unanswered trigger a single reminder to the owner.
