Creative Review Board: pinned image feedback with review rounds

The problem
A creative team needed a single place to collect feedback on work in progress. Without one, comments about specific parts of an image were hard to tie to the exact spot they referred to, and it was hard to see which feedback was still open and which round of a project was approved.
What we built
We built a mini-app with login for two roles: an admin (the creative director) and reviewers. The admin can invite or add reviewers by email. Projects appear in a dark-mode gallery. Within each project, work is organized into review rounds, and each round can hold an uploaded image or a pasted link to work in progress. Reviewers click a spot on an image to leave a comment pinned at those coordinates. Each comment has a thread and an open or resolved state. The admin sets each round's status (in review, changes requested, or approved), which shows on the gallery and the round pages. Each round also has a one-page summary of open comments, reachable by an unguessable link without login. The app uses two integrations: file storage for uploaded images and transactional email for invites.
Outcome
The creative director can invite reviewers, gather comments anchored to specific spots on an image, track which comments are open or resolved, and mark each round as in review, changes requested, or approved. They can also share a one-page summary of a round's open comments with anyone who has the link, no login needed.
